For his excellent work with the Shell Gas Station in Lockport, Illinois, Mr. H. R. Phelps would've had this calendar shipped to him from Corporate. This cardtock calendar was printed by John Baumgarth Co. of South Bend, Indiana, and features the artwork labeled as "Down by the Old Mill Stream." Artwork was also used in other advertising calendars during the 1940s.
