NOTTS & DERBY R. Walter Holmes served on the western front from 28 2 1915 with the 6th Battalion. He is recorded as wounded on 29 9 15. During the course of the war he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, (407651). The medals are extremely fine and come with the original long silk ribbons.
