Born in Stirling around 1790, he injured his leg as a child, which kept him on crutches for the rest of his life. Despite his decrepit appearance, he was a well known character famed for his witty repartees and the contents of his chapbooks. CONDITION This 98+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++.
