2024 Ulli Stein Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett Feinherb Mosel, Germany Frantz Chagnoleau with earthy notes of smokeThis wine is sort of the sleeper in the line up, without the fame of vine age as 1900 or the dry punch of Palmberg this wine is perhaps the purest Mosel of them all. The wine always ends in the Feinherb range, and is sourced from 80+ year old vines in terraced vineyards on blue and grey slate the wine always shows kaleidoscopic flavors of blues and greens, a tarragon and anise.
