This is a heavily flown and worn example of a Pre 1936 League of German Girls (BDM) unit marked Wimpel (Pennant). The earlier black BDM Pennant featured the HJ Youth style diamond, while the later red pennants featured a black swas on a white diamond, with a red and white striped field. The upper right corner of the pennant features the chain stitched numbers 5 478 for Jungmdelgruppe 5 of Jungmdel Untergau 478. We
