The painting is of Soviet WW2 Leader Joseph Stalin, in uniform displaying a large variety of medals. Clearly a souvenir that was quickly sliced from it's frame and crammed into a Back Pack by an invading German Soldier, most probably soon after AH's Invasion of the USSR in 1941. Attached to the canvas is a small
