Old Carved Wooden Doll with Leather Arms Zanesville Homespun vase last quarter of the 19th

last quarter of the 19th century I believe

but I can't find a mark anywhere so have to assume it is silver plate

I think I'd use it as a serving bowl

and could be useful for storing all sorts of little things

5" long x 4 1/4" tall x 3/4" wide and in great vintage condition

Old Carved Wooden Doll with Leather Arms Zanesville Homespun vase last quarter of the 19thNot a lot in the way of details a carved triangle for a nose, a straight line for a mouth, and the general suggestion of ears on the sides of the head but really a sweet one I think, and a pretty old one, too. The arms are leather strips, attached with old iron nails, and I love how they are now curled a bit to follow the silhouette of the body. And he stands up proudly on his own. 7 1 2" t x 2" w x 1 1 8" d and in good, I believe antique, condition.
