SOLD 1901 Froebel Kindergarten Thread Drawings: Set Two, 4 Drawings copper tray and both fitting perfectly inAs I've learned more about kindergarten inventor Friedrich Froebel and the series of "Gifts" he created to give form and structure to discovery based learning, I now know that these yarn drawings were product of Gift #12, some made on pre punched cards, others make by punching points through a gridded template, as here. And, looking at these, it should not seem too surprising that Paul Klee and Piet Mondrian were both products of early kindergarten.
