Charming Antique Carved, Painted Folk Art Mallard Duck soalr eclipse (Plenty of good boxes inA wonderful small carved and painted mallard, with the head carved of a separate piece of wood and fitted into the body. (There is a bit of wiggle to it, but it remains attached.) Terrific old paint, and the rich dry wood patina to the unpainted underside tells us it is quite an old one. That little patch of light blue amid the softened black and white on either side makes me especially happy. A very sweet thing. 5 5 8" x 2 1 8" x 3" t and in good
