and I must say each has its own distinctive personality

and reaching their height of popularity in the mid-1800s

I always have an eye out for old wood-framed

and is pretty smart looking in red and blue I think

The monochrome palette also makes it feel sort of mid way between watercolor painting and black and white photograph, at a time when one was giving way to the other, which for me rather enhances its end of the day feeling. 3 1 2" x 5 1 2" and in excellent condition, with unused back.
