This is a very nice Bowie style knife from the Philippines, brought back by a USGI after WWII. It is quite impressive, having an very large 11 5 8 inch clip point "Bowie" style blade. The size puts it close to "machete" territory, and it may very well have been intended to clear brush. Overall length of the knife is 17 inches, and has a very nice curved handle, held in place with brass fittings. It also has a very
