Standing almost 15" tall and 12. 5" wide this is solid brass and weighs a lot. Really, you need both hands here. Deactivated by having the internal clapper and hanging mount removed this, however, is a fabulous find. It has the typical British Naval iron crown mounting to the top and is engraved: H. M. S. MAIDA On the other side cast into the Bell with raised letters reads G. A. W. 1806 We are not sure what G. A. W
