Well, amazing things still happen, brought in by a customer who, as a boy, really did find this original old Civil war musket in a barn! The percussion lock is marked BRIDESBURG and is dated 1863 with the Federal eagle insignia still visible. The barrel measures 31. 5 inches in length. Front and rear sights are absent and where both were located is still apparent. The wood full stock comes to 3 inches of the barrel's
