Primitive Wooden Mallet decorative lacquer When I spotted this setSo many beautiful old tools in the world, and I think primitive wooden mallets like this one rate high among them. I love its shape and proportions, the worn dark wood, and especially the way the handle comes through the end. Great for pounding the heck out of something, (or just admiring:) 10 3 4 x 4 x 2 7 8". The wood is well worn with some cracking, but that's part of what makes it wonderful.
