Some wear to one corner of the box but otherwise very good condition

Samples cover various sorts of stitching and hemming and edging and darning

13 1/2”l  x 7 3/4” t x 9 9/16” d and in good condition

The colors are two different shades of blue—one a bit lighter for the outer perimeter

H Adaire of Spring Grove, PA, dated 1905 I bought and sold a handful a month or two ago, then just went back to the seller to scoop up a handful more. Just my sort of naive and exuberant drawings, and I really really love the postures and the colors and patterning on these two, which I take for a rooster and a grouse though perhaps the latter is a partridge, or? Whatever the case, I can very much imagine the one
