I imagine that there was once a thin rod or wire that attached to the holes on either side of their arms by which one would hold them up and make them dance

with one small rough spot on the print sheet near the upper right corner

pages 122-131 (the second part of a play by Rabindranath Tagore and translated by Andre Gide titled “Amal et la letter du Roi”) and three plates accompanying the story on Chinese funeral statues

and hung in any context

Handmade Multiplication Teaching Dial bronze animal with leather ears (only oneI love C. Weiman, presumably the parent, or perhaps the teacher, who made this excellent dial to make learning multiplication a lot more fun. Point the arrow, marked with a 7, toward a number then open the little window at the other end of the arrow to reveal the result of multiplying the two. And the result of multiplying 7 with the number on the opposite side of the dial is revealed underneath the "X" on the arrow. Great for kids, but pretty great
