so the “Crown over K” marking is not visible on the lock plate or cap bolster

The barrel proofs and dates are unfortunately worn away from years of use

This is something that we don't come across very often

in that the rear portion of the original barrel was cut away and the new breech block was hinged in the "trap door" style

They would then hit the hedgerows at high speed

This is a very nice early HJ National Youth Organization Fahrtenmesser (trip knife), marked on the blade by blade by maker Emil Voos, Waffenfabrik of Solingen. This early HJ Knife is a solid example of the type, with a handle that is nickel plated over a steel base. The plating still remains in very good condition, with about 80% still intact, with a lovely lightly worn look. The acid etched motto Blut und Ehre!
