I am really not sure the age or origins of this piece

but certainly another ladle can be used

at the corresponding spot of the backside is a glued piece of old newspaper so I think it was likely repaired long ago

Hard to beat that for a letter from someone with not much to say

I do know she was a graduate of Tufts University and spent much of her life in the nearby Boston suburb of Belmont, where there are records of her exhibiting from the 1960s and 70s all the way through 2011. And I know from the dealer I purchased the prints from that her house was loaded
