There seems to be just a tiny bit of warping to the wood of the lid such that it sits just a tiny bit higher on one side - very minor

each one loaded with character and all together forming quite a beautiful

The card on the back of the frame has bowed/warped a bit due to the weight and depth of the hair piece

plus original red and white striped cord connecting the ear piece to base

Each measures 9 3/16" x 5 7/8" x 1/2" and while they show wear they are in very good overall condition

Surely this was made for a doll, and very finely so, with three frames of inlay around the bevelled mirror. I believe Walnut and think late 19th c or so. 4 1 4" long x 1 1 2" wide with some roughness to the end of the handle, otherwise very good condition.
