Stunning C. 1820s-40s British Mensuration Notebook with Poetic Fraktur Headers Throughout folk art thread winder with an elongated beak perfectlyIt's been quite a long time since I had a notebook approaching the beauty of this one and I've never had one with SO MANY boldly and ornately penned fraktur type headers, populating more of its 81 pages than not. The headers sometimes filling the entire page are unusual, too, and to my sensibilities often quite poetic: "of the Regular Bodies," "Drains and Canals," "Of Bricklayers' and Masons Work, "Directions for Measuring Quarries and Coalheaps,"
