The Air Protection Warning Service (Luftschutzwarndienst LSW) was a civilian organization whose purpose it was to alert the population of impending air raid attacks. The buckle is in very good condition, and there does appear to be a marking on it, but it is no clear enough to decipher the maker. A rare belt with an exceptional eye appeal!
