WWII Canteen and Cup set, complete with an early war issue U. S. Marine Corps 2nd Pattern Canvas Carrier. This carrier was essentially the same as the 1st Pattern, except the regular press snaps were replaced by Lift the Dot fasteners. This change was made shortly before the introduction of the 3rd pattern cover with the "dog eared" flaps. These covers were unique to the Marines and lacked
