This is a very nice condition genuine Burnside Rifle Company Model 1865 Spencer Repeating Carbine. Functions great with good bore: clear lands and grooves but some some small areas of pitting. Metalwork has been polished over the years on the receiver and lock, making for a very attractive item. The carbine is marked with the serial number 29691 on the receiver. The wood stocks are in fair condition, though the rear
