It has the classic meatball red circle at center with white (now off white) background and measures approximately 32 x 24. Frayed at the corners with slight damage to the interior, this was used by a soldier for prayers and good luck. The Japanese call their country's flag hinomaru, which translates literally to "sun round", referencing the red circle on a white field. The
