With pin prick engraving along the top edge and toe

and with a little research I've identified the signers as a couple from Worchester

with some cloudiness to the mirror and minor scratching top the brass

There may once have been a few more pieces in this set--they are made of very thin bone--there are 35 here

Excellent Child's School Book Drawing, Boy Driving Car with Hand Crank honey colored Mann of VermontA terrific drawing I think, found in an old primer that was falling apart so I extracted it. I love how the figure was drawn, with these great bowed lines for legs connecting to the pedals, and everything about the drawing really, including the inclusion of the crank at front, which would have taken some turning to get the car going. Just my sort of drawing, late 19th c. I believe. 7 3 16" x 4 9 16". There is a clean tear coming in from the left edge
