I'd guess it was an apple butter paddle

and then also on the backsides

with doily-like patterns

I believe this dates to the 1920s or so and is a pretty classic one

to my sensibilities at least

C. 1920s Sterling Track and Field Medal Engraved "1st High Jump" miniature nativity I'd guess it was anI find the two runners one of them looking pretty exhausted! on the face of this sterling medal both lovely and poignant, and even better that it be engraved "1st High Jump" on reverse, which makes it seem to me just right as a gift for most anyone who has accomplished something that felt like a high jump! 1920s or so I believe and still attached to a rather beautiful old leather strap. I have not touched it but should one desire it should polish up
