What I really love about it is the way the triangular motif plays out across the top and sides

The set is complete and in very good shape

akin to stone lions or sphinx's but carved of wood--and most welcoming

some scuffs and stains

I really love that each of the four stockings hung by the fire is of a different size, and that the fire grate looks like a canoe, and I like that drawing of the chair best of all.
