Relief Carved and Painted English Pointer in Landscape (Two of Two) gilded cast bronze What a couple of charactersI purchased this and a second relief carved Pointer (just listed) together, and assume they are two views of the same dog. I might guess, though, that they were made by two different people, as the other is rather more carefully, delicately carved and painted. Or, perhaps, this one came first and the other later as the maker refined their carving skills. I like them both in different ways, this one because it feels less about the hunting dog's
