This trompe l'oeil style oil on canvas is not tightly painted enough to fool anyone

but I love the shot up

and perhaps all made by the same person some years ago

from the estate of a long time collector in New Hampshire

carved from one piece of wood--by the same maker I think as a smaller one I am listing separately

Love at first sight, found in PA, with a bit of a feline aspect but I do believe a dog. (Best of both worlds!) 6" l x 3 7 8" t x 2 1 8" w, very good condition. 1920s 40s or so I would guess.
