On April 19 the Division started fighting its way south passing west of Nurnberg and having its last day of combat on May 2 just northeast of Munich across the Isar River near Landshut

but also over the sleeve

The painting is vibrant and totally consistent with two other known examples from the crews that flew this aircraft

This can in fine condition with all original paint (multiple layers) for being 85 years old and is stamped 7  33 for July 1933 on the bottom along with VALOR

This is a very rare totally original M1916 holster, made by Walsh Harness Co., of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in very nice condition. It is marked WALSH 44 on the back, and embossed U S on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster. The leather is very dark brown, or possibly was originally finished black.
