They all have Vietnam War Era 1960s/70s dates stamped on the underside of the top flap along with the following information:

With a very impressive 9 1/4" long barrel

There is also a marking on the front of the chest

though it does not fall out due to friction

This is a wonderful example of an American MkII Pineapple grenade. This is one of the best we have seen recently and has nearly all paint present. The best feature of the grenade is the fact that it retains a lovely yellow ring around the neck as well as scattered areas of red still visible on the body from when it was likely a practice grenade in the 1930s. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF
