This is a very good condition original WWII Japanese Army type 98 tropical sun pith helmet. It still retains a wonderful form with internal bamboo wicker construction. Comes with original period applied officers brass army star insignia to the front, which is in very good condition. The helmet has the original suspension system and original chinstrap, though the buckle of the sweatband is now broken, destroyed by
