this antique glass paperweight was an “Official Souvenir” of the Ferris wheel’s debut at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893

and especially the Easter egg-like paint job on it

but I'm not certain of its origins

I really love love this

I don't think photos quite do this one justice; the wood is nicely aged with a warm dry patina, and it's of a nice scale so that one could stow some things inside. 7 7 8" w x 4 1 4" t x 6 1 16" d.
