It stands straight without wobble on its flat bottom and is carved on the back with what appears to be a triangle and a 6 or a 9 and a "V" like mark

'Vogan' shows some old presence in Northwest Pennsylvania and possibly the Southern tier of New York state where this drawing was found

I’m not sure if there was ever a purpose for these—perhaps a doll’s library

Perhaps it lost one tiny one along the way

This one has no moving parts, but I have a special love for "architectural" sorts of whimsies like this, and this one seems almost as if it should exist inside of a bottle, with that excellent crown like top poking out as a stopper and so it invokes a nice presence absence sort of dynamic. Stands on its own, with a nice warm dry wood patina, pine I believe. 8 3 4" x 1 3
