Vintage Armlehnstuhl "Quinta" von Mario Botta für Alias seascape A table lamp made fromThe "Quinta" armchair was designed in 1985 by Swiss architect Mario Botta for Alias and is considered one of the defining objects in postmodern furniture history. The black lacquered steel tubing forms a continuous arch from armrest to front leg, while the seat and backrest are made of perforated steel sheet, a typical Botta detail. The chair is no longer in production; a sister piece is in the collection of the MoMA in New York. You can find more
