OVERSEAS" ribbon banner, maker marked "TIPTAFT, B'HAM" on the reverse, measuring 44 mm (w) x 46. 8 mm (h), intact lugs and pin, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The 4th Mounted Rifle Battalion was organized on March 15, 1915, in Toronto, Ontario. It served in France and Holland and was disbanded on November 15, 1920. They were initially issued with badges with "4 C. M. R.
