Portugal, Kingdom. Military Order Of Christ, I Class Grand Cross consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac maker marked "GWL" in a(Ordem Militar de Cristo). Instituted in 1917. In silver gilt with red and white enamels, unmarked, measuring 45. 5 mm (w) x 84. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, two nicks evident on the edge of the arm at 6 o'clock, traces of gilt remains on the badge, very light contact, accompanied by its full length sash that incorporates a decorative moir pattern and features a large bow tie, near extremely fine.
