Constructed of bronze, the obverse with central crossed swords with a frontal image of a plane and date of 1942, the top with a banner inscribed DEMJANSK, pinned to a field grey wool backer, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 74 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
