A National Order for Civil Merit, III Class Commander, c.1945 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac revealing the brass underneath( III C T.). Instituted in 1891. Type IV with Wreath (1944 1946). Multi piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, measuring 54. 5 mm (w) x 80 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, tiny chip and scuffing evident in the white enamels on the tip of the arm at 6 o'clock on the obverse, otherwise the enamels are intact, replacement full length neck ribbon, near extremely fine.
