Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pilot’s Badge, by C.E. Juncker consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Victory Medal (409299 PTE(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). A textbook example in silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN S. W., measuring 65. 06 mm (w) x 52. 55
