Of French manufacture, in silver gilt, consisting of a detailed hollow Maltese cross with chain link boarders and ball finials, obverse centre in blue enamels with Order Motto Virtus Nobilitat, adorned by large silver gilt Royal crown, with negative space completed with red enamels, reverse with typical French style pin assembly, hallmarked on pin and catch with boars head denoting French small
