Constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a pebbled background, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws connecting to a period original brown leather strap, the latter maker marked F. W. ASSMANN & SHNE, LDENSCHEID, measuring 65 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
