A round, bronze medal, the obverse centre presents the crowned regimental monogram ME (Max Emmanuel) with the encircling inscription MIT GOTT FUER KOENIG UND VATERLAND 1682 1932 (WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND 1682 1932), the reverse presents two armed soldiers dressed in First World War uniforms, one standing and one kneeling, surrounded by the inscription KGL.
