Germany, Drk. A German Red Cross Honour Medal Newly Listed Quebec with the 117th Infantry(Medaille des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes). Instituted 6 April 1937 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1937 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross with its arms joined together by a circular ring, the obverse of the cross with red enameled arms and ring with a white enameled finish, bearing a central gilded and black enameled
