A silver eight pointed multi rayed star with four gilded Royal Crowns in an X formation, with a circular central red enamelled medallion decorated with the Royal Cypher of Carol I in gilt, surrounded by a band of white enamels inscribed with Prin Noi Insine (By Ourselves) in Latin, the reverse plain, with a tall barrel hinge, vertical pinback, and rightward
