Mid-century British Military Concept Vehicle Model "Vickers-Armstrong" c.1950 Globes MassachusettsABOUT A mid century proof of concept model of a hover vehicle or "Flying Jeeps or Jumping Jeeps", presented by the British Aircraft Corporation to the British Ministry of Defense, named the "Vickers Armstrong" flying car. This wooden model features four large metal rotors inside the vehicle that all spin, hard rubber tires, glass windows and two original plaques on each side. Shown with life size hand model for scale.
