A Friends Of New Germany Side Cap, C. 1934 Auction Archive Italian issue manufactured during WWIIA side cap fabricated from a brown cotton blend, with fold down flaps also in brown material on either side, with two rising peaks forming a valley between the two panels, the panels are sewn together with black thread, the top edge of the flaps is trimmed in golden yellow threading, with a FDND (Friends of New Germany Freunde Des Neue Deutschland) insignia pinned in place on the right side, the inside is not lined, the cap measures 27. 5 cm (w) x 10
