Constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse depicting a rightward facing Kaiser Karl, circumscribed by his name and title; the reverse inscribed Fortitudini (Fortitude), within a laurel wreath and flags; on a loop for suspension; marked Bronze on the rim of the medal; with its period original ribbon; measuring 40. 15 mm in diameter; weighing 20. 5 grams; in overall virtually mint condition. This offering is a part of the
