Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939, the reverse with three of four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 30. 46 mm (w) x 30. 60 mm (h), weighing 6. 6 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
