Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 96 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), demonstrating mothing throughout the wool underlay and some discolouration to the eagle, a first pattern insignia in uniform removed and very fine condition.
